Private White VC

Private White VC (Victoria Cross) is a luxury clothing brand based in Salford. Private Jack White, an English World War One military hero, was awarded the Victoria Cross in 1917. My conceptual thinking and art direction developed a visual identity influenced by the time period of World War One. The main typeface was carefully chosen due to it being developed and had contemporary use at that time.

The symbol is a simplified representation of the Victoria Cross medal. This is a strong graphic element that signifies Private White’s award for bravery and further reinforces the brand. The main colour palette is a indication of the military heritage and bravery.
